I am a little Mouse,
I live among the trees,
And to my little house
Bring every tasty piece.
I'll lay the table when needed
And then I'll go to fetch
Some frozen food and eat it
While trying not to retch.
These grains are quite superior,
I love the barley cereal!
It is said that I'm a peril
That I am a real devil
For a harvest. But I'd soon
Would collect grain on the moon:
I'm so scared of Cat the Loon!
But if a little mole comes
To share with me my lunch
Let him unhook his costume:
He'll have a lot to munch!
I'll offer him chick-pea,
I'll give him some popcorn,
I'll pat him on the knee
And then he will be gone.
